BITTING TRUTH: Letter to those searching Dear True Love Searcher You claim you are searching for true love, is that not? anyway there is nothing wrong with searching for something that real and true even liars and cheats r also searching for their opposite. But is it really true love you are searching for, is it really someone that truly loves you and that will stick to you that you really want? Answer the questions below and you will know what you truly want. LADIES FIRST... If your true love (someone that truly loves you) comes in the form of a not so handsome and maybe poor guy, will you love him in return? If you have an alternative in the form of a man who is handsome (like Psalm Sam, you think am not handsome? Atom thinks i am) and rich and maybe doesn't truly love you, wont you dump true love all for money? NOW TO THE GUYS... If your true love comes in the form of an ugly lady or even a pretty lady but with a dirty past... and you have the option of another better lady but who didnt really love you, wont you dump true love? Now you can see whether it is true love that matters or other criteria. but let me add this sooner or later, you will discover the truth, NOTHING IN THE WORLD CAN BE AS FUN AS LIVING WITH SOMEONE WHO TRULY LOVES YOU, NOTHING CAN TAKE ITS PLACE, NOT MONEY, NOT BEAUTY, with time you will see, they all fade with time... but someone that loves you wont. NB: There are times when true love comes in the form and just the way you want it, (it is mostly common in movies, but believe me this lady beside me fit that bill) if it is that way with you, goodluck (without jona pls) but if not don't leave the one you love and that truly love you for anything in the world

WHO WILL WAKE THIS JONAH UP?

Who will wake this modern Jonah up? There is no doubt that he is alive, at least we see him on television, we watch him speak, though his voice doesn’t really sound like the commander in chief (of the armed and unarmed forces if I may add).

I can remember one of the biblical stories that I love as a child; it was the story of Jonah. Now Jonah was a prophet/messenger of God and he was sent on errand by God to a particular town called Nineveh. Nineveh was a town tethering on the ‘sodomic path’. Everything that symbolizes evil and corruption was on display in the town; murder, robbery, bestiality, homosexual, etc

Jonah was give the task of saving the whole city from impending doom and destruction that was imminent if they did not change their ways. Instead of taking on the task, Jonah decided to run to another town, he boarded a ship. While on his way, God decided to show him his omnipresence attributes by sending storm to the ship. The occupants of the ship labored hard to control the ship in the face of the destructive storm, Jonah was at a corner enjoying a delicious ‘forty winks’.

Substitutes Nigeria for Nineveh, Jonathan for Jonah and you will understand where I am going. Today Nigeria is at the brink of precipice, on every index for civility and democratic credentials, we are at the bottom. Despite that the country is blessed with ‘underground wealth’ majority of the populace are languishing under the crushing weight of poverty. Life has never been this hard and cheap,. Almost on daily basis we hear people dying of avoidable deaths. Yet, our Jonah is inside his ‘asoship’ sleeping.

My question again, WHO WILL WAKE OUR JONAH UP? A civilian government that doesn’t tolerate criticism or the voice of the opposition is worse than a dictator. Ask Obasanjo, ask Ekweseli, ask others who have had a barrage of venomous accusations (either real or unreal) or even crude words poured on them just because they criticize this ‘jonahmic’ government. The barbaric way with which they always confront any voice of correction from opposition and even from people in their camp reminds me of a dog that went rabid not long ago on my street.

Who will wake our jonah up? Boko haram didn’t, many things that should have woken him up didn’t. who/what will wake him up to action?
